Monica Stephens
Monica Stephens joined People's Choice CPR & Safety, LLC in 2009, bringing a background in journalism with a specialization in public relations. As the daughter of the company's founder, she embraced the mission to make life-saving skills accessible and became an American Heart Association BLS and First Aid instructor in 2010. After relocating to northern Florida, Monica expanded the company's reach to serve communities in the Jacksonville area and southern Georgia.
Inspired by her experiences, Monica pursued nursing in 2014 and is now an advocate for education. With experience teaching in a variety of settings, she is committed to reducing deaths from sudden cardiac arrest by empowering individuals with the knowledge and confidence to perform CPR. Monica is dedicated to fostering a community where life-saving skills are widely known, making a safer world for everyone
Cia McClinton
With nearly four decades in health and safety, Cia McClinton founded People's Choice CPR & Safety, LLC to make life-saving skills accessible to everyone. A Registered Respiratory Therapist since 1984 and an American Heart Association BLS and First Aid instructor since 1988, Cia has worked in a range of healthcare environments, from intensive trauma care to patient-focused home care. Her background also includes serving as an asthma educator at a major pediatric hospital, where she worked with families to instill critical respiratory skills.
Driven by a passion for teaching and a commitment to safety, Cia is dedicated to equipping individuals and communities with the skills they need to respond confidently in emergencies.
